On Feb. 4th 2013, the 58.6m Supply Vessel DP1 / XYF219 (MUTAWA 302) built by Xin Yue Feng Shipyard Ltd was delivered to the owner successfully. The vessel was built under the survey of BUREAU VERITAS with the notation: I +Hull +Mach; Supply Vessel; Fire Fighting Ship 1; Water Spraying; Unrestricted navigation; Dynapos – AM/TM. Two 1600KW @ 1000RPM WARTSILA main engines were equipped, and one bow thruster and one stern thruster were fitted for the powerful capacity of positioning. Three 350KW Caterpillar main generator sets were installed on board, and two 1000KW shaft generators driven by main engines supply the power to the bow and stern thrusters.
It is the first vessel delivered to the Middle East owner who has placed 3 vessels on Xin Yue Feng shipyard. The other two supply vessels will be delivered on Apr. 2013 and Jun. 2013.
